This heirloom garlic is from the late Chet Stevenson of
Tonasket, Washington. Chet found this variety growing wild in an abandoned
garden in the 1960's and very carefully refined the strain over the next 25
years. Great for roasting, a good keeper. Chets is in the artichoke family of
softneck varieties. Very large bulbs, 10-20 smaller cloves in 4 layers
(like an artichoke) and very mild flavor raw or cooked.Garlic ships mid-September.
