Cabbage Growing Tips

Cabbage seeds need to be started indoors, planted ¼" deep in pots or flats 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Thin seedlings when they reach 2" tall and transplant to individual pots. Move outdoors 24-30" apart in rows 36" apart when the weather is still cool and a light frost is possible.
