Carrot Growing Tips

Sow seeds outdoors in early spring 3-4 weeks before the last frost or as soon as the soil can be worked. Sow seeds ¼" deep. Good soil contact is essential, make sure to firmly press the soil against the seeds. Keep moist for optimal germination. Thin seedlings to 1-4" depending on the size of mature carrots.
