Chicory Growing Tips
Sow chicory seeds directly into the garden two or three weeks before your last frost. They will germinate and grow well in temperatures between 45 and 75, the cooler the temperature, the sweeter the chicory. Space seeds 1-2 inches apart in rows 24-36 inches apart. Thin plants to 18 inches when they are about four inches tall.
